But we will have a tail vehicle following the race to make sure everyone is accounted for, and all the marshals and drinks stations will be in place until after the tail vehicle has passed.

The course is essentially flat. It has a few bits where the course rises or falls, but there are no big hills
Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds if you cannot take part.

The race is oversubsctibed and as much as we would like to be able to replace numbers, we simply don't have any spares.

There are 5 drinks stations, at 3, 5.5, 8, 10.5, and 12 miles, with each providing water in cups.
In addition, there are sponges and showers at each water station to help keep you cool.

There is ample parking at the start/finish area in the centre of the village.
On your FRONT please. (unless you plan to run 13.1 miles backwards!)
Your number is for the timekeepers to be able to give you an accurate time.
No number = no time and no memento.
The race is part of "Club Day" weekend and all the local Churches have special xervices on the Sunday morning, which we don't wish to disrupt.
The time is based on the slowest times from the last few years.
The cut off time is set to discourage people who just want to walk round.
A half marathon is a serious distance and we want people to rspect the distance.
