Mythop Village Weeton and United Utilities

This little idyllic hamlet located within the Weeton with Preese Parish suffered 16 power outages in December.After a meeting with a charming couple I decided to help. After many phone calls to the electrics management of United Utilities and many and various excuses such as 'the problem is under a motorway' 'the problem has been low flying birds' to name a few Mythop Village was re-connected with modernisation.

I wrote to the Electrics Manager of United Utilities and was informed that they residents just fall short of the compensation threshold.

I have now escalated this to our MP Michael Jack for some assistance in securing a token compensation.

Further outages have taken place and further letters have been sent to United Utilities

The group of residents led by Mr & Mrs Baldwin took this complaint to the ombudsman.Sadly the outages fell just short of the compensation metrics.
