Conservative Councillors help save Normoss Post Office

Since July your Conservative Councillors  have been working on behalf of the Normoss Post Office to save this facility from a planned closure. We have obtained comments from customers who use this Post Office, which include residents from Fylde,Blackpool and Wyre . These findings were sent to the Rt.Hon.Pat McFadden MP, Minister for Postal Policy and copied the Conservative Minister.

We have also gathered petitions from customers and sent these to the Minister under cover of a separate wallet.

We were glad to report that a letter received some weeks later from the Minister thanking us for the comments and advising us that the facility would remain open.This letter was passed to the Normoss Post Office in November 2008

Due to the location of this Post Office it is crucial in the provision of postal services to the residents of Normoss,Staining and Wyre areas.
