Bin re-located from Police House to Scout HQ.This has caused some problems with residents.

Kings Close alterations
Bushes are to be removed from the area and re planted to the rear of the area.The seat is to be altered into a flower tub.Work to commence in two weeks

Have arranged a meeting with the Police who have ressomended that some alterations are required in order to prevent anti social problems

Sent letter to Chief Executive at Tesco Stores. Happy to report Tesco are now funding a bus from Staining to Tesco twice weekly

Kings Close Issues regarding youths
Residents are troubled by youths hanging out near this are and causing a nuisance.Police now patrolling the area.Parish Council agreed to remove seat and bushes from this area.
Have now agreed with probation service for this work to be carried out

Mythop Village Outages
After sending my file together with letters from Mr & Mrs Baldwin as representatives ofthe Community I can confirm the Ombudsman has agreed to take this case and apply for compensation. This shows that the Giant can be beaten if we all stick together and persue our cause.

Camelot to install Lottery at Booths Supermarket Normoss
Camelot is to install a retail lottery at Booth's at Normoss despite objections from myself. I received a Letter confirming this action which I have passed onto the Post master at Normoss

Route 15 Bus Service
Due to roadworks the bus is full of passengers from the Marton Mere caravan park.Letter sent to Operations Director, Blackpool Transport Ltd.Reply received to advise Staining will have normal service from End of May.

Community Payback teams working in Staining
Two teams of community workers are clearing rubbish from the dykes on the playing fields and painting the Three Bus shelters together with the railings on Earlsway.

Line 15 Bus
Complaint sent to Mr.Steve Bird Blackpool Transport Manager regarding the re -routing of the 15 Bus service as some residents are finding the bus full after picking up from Marton Mere Caravan Site.

Mythop Village Power outages again
Residents at MythopVillage Weeton have been having problems with power outages since December 08.After letters of complaint from myself and M.Jack MP the file has been sent to the Ombudsman.

Normoss Post Office v Camelot Group
New outlet being considered for the Booths Supermarket which is only three minutes walk from the Post Office. Sent letter to the Camelot Group for some clarification.

Red dog Bins Full
The dog bins were full resulting in dog bags being left on the floor beside the bins.
The bins are now in normal service .

Villagers have experienced 19 power cuts in less than Three weeks.After visiting Mo & Shaun to get first hand story.Got to grips with Electrics division of UU Ltd.Power restored and letter sent to apply for some compensation

Grant Issued to Staining Junior Football Club
£400 issued to Football Club
Staining Junior Football Team require support
Handed accounts to Parish Clerk. Proposed a grant of £400 towards the youth of Staining by supporting the Football Club.The Council must support the Staining Junior Football Club for without it there would be cries of 'we have nothing to do' Good luck to all Officials at the Club

Ragwort is most highway verges in Staining.County Council are to visit during July to get rid of this weed.

Reports of Large vehicles driving through Staining Village
The very heavy vehicles are carrying metal framework to the Farm down the Nook twice a day to be serviced.This will carry on for the next month.The Police have advised the driver to drive with care on our Village roads especially the Nook area

Gulleys need clearing of grass and soil
Dykes and gulleys are causing some flooding down the Staining Old Road Country lane leading to Poulton

No ball game sign required in the Bleasdale Area of Staining
Group of children have been playing football in Bleasdale Ave using residents fence as goal area causing a nuisance.P.C.S.O will monitor this area.The Council will erect a sign. NO BALL GAMES BY ORDER

Sand Slide on Church Road Weeton passed the bridge.
The recent waters have caused a sand slide and movement of flags on the banks of the railway bridge.Sand has been washed onto the road.

Normoss Post Office Update
I have had communication's from Fylde Borough to inform me that Normoss Post Office is not in this current closure programme announced in January 2008. I will keep all informed of my progress.
Normoss Post Office is under threat
Please send me your concerns relating to this proposed closure. All comments will be sent to Fylde Borough Council for the next meeting with representative's from the Post Office.

Bin Collection dates for Christmas/New Year
I have some spare recycling collection calendars for the Tuesday collection day.If you require one let me know.--The Christmas Collection days have changed .The Grey bin collection day will be Monday the 24th December 2007 and the Green bin collection day will be the 2nd January 2008

We meet at the Church yard for the carols prior to the torchlight procession.Lanterns and wax torches will be on sale at £1-50 each.

Santa's Sleigh
If anyone can accommodate Santa's sleigh in their garage for a two week period prior to the Village Torchlight event please let me know. This is to dress the sleigh in time for Santa's Visit.

Draft plans received for all weather playing fields.Plans include 2 senior football areas 1 junior football area 1 Cricket pitch and changing rooms . Plans to be discussed at the next Parish Council Meeting

Tree in dangerous condition
Rowan Tree reported to be in a dangerous condition opposite Windmill Close. Supports seem to have come loose. Added to Council Agenda on 20/09/07 as Health & Safety issue. Requirement for some better supports to make this tree safe.

Community Engagement vehicle (Information "Bus") plans to visit Staining & Weeton on Saturday 22nd September 2007. The roadshow will be asking residents how Fylde Borough Council services are performing . Please come along and ask the staff any question relating to the services Fylde Borough provide.

Swim Bus
The swim bus to Kirkham baths is back in action during August only. The timetable is displayed in all four noticeboards at Staining and Weeton.Pick up point are:- Staining bus terminus is 12-30 Weeton Eagle & Child is 12-50. Drop off times are:-Weeton Eagle & Child 16-05 and Staining bus terminus 16-25

Fly tipping reported by the Co-Op Village Store, Staining.
Green wheelie bin dumped on its side with the wheels missing. Bin is full of concrete and slabs. No refuge linking to owners address. Fylde Borough Council to be informed.
