CENTRAL WARD PROJECT ON TARGET

Hanging BasketsThe Local Strategic Partnership working with your Central Ward Councillors and Fylde Borough Council have begun work on the Central Ward Project, which will be completed over a four year period. The St. Albans Road area was shown to be a super output area, and the Central Ward Project is designed to improve the quality of life for its residents.

Six specific needs were identified by residents, and these will be addressed by the project. They are environment, community safety, HMO’s, employment, learning and training opportunities, and nuisance behaviour. All through the life of the project, residents will be kept informed and their views will be sought and acted upon.

Recently, working with St. Annes in Bloom, hanging baskets of colourful flowers were distributed to interested residents, helping to brighten the local environment.
